What we know about you

Short version: we collect what we need to consider your application, take your payment, and send you your membership. We do not sell it, and we do not track you around the internet.

Who we are

The Little People Social Club (“LPSC”, “we”, “us”) is a members’ club being established in New York City. You can reach a human at curiositykilledthecat@lpsc.love.

What we collect

When you apply. Your name, age, occupation, height, email address, and your answers to the membership questions — the joke, the reference, and the person who inspires you. You gave us these; we asked for them because a founding membership is a considered decision on both sides.

When you buy. Your payment is handled by Stripe. We receive the fact of the payment, the amount, and the email and name Stripe passes back. We never see or store your card number.

When you sign in. Your email address, and — if you use Google — the name and profile image Google shares with us.

When you become a member. Your member number, your kit sizes if you choose them, and anything you write on the members’ wall or in an event RSVP.

What we do with it

We use it to decide on your application, to take and record your payment, to send you your membership confirmation and club news, to make and ship your Founding Member kit, and to run the members’ rooms on this site. That is the whole list.

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. There is no advertising pixel, no analytics profile, and no data broker in this site.

Who else touches it

We use a small number of established companies to run the club. Each one sees only what it needs:

Supabase — the club’s database and sign-in. Holds your account, application and membership.
Stripe — payments. Holds your card details; we do not.
Resend — sends your confirmation emails.
Anthropic — the membership committee uses an AI assistant to help read applications. Your application text is sent to it for that purpose and is not used to train anyone’s model.
Vercel — hosts this website.

We will also share information where the law requires it. If the club is ever sold or merged, your membership goes with it — that is the point of a lifetime membership.

How long we keep it

A founding membership is for life and is transferable upon death, so we keep membership records for as long as the club exists. If you applied and were not accepted, or you never completed a purchase, write to us and we will delete your application.

Your choices

You can see and change your name and email at any time on your account page. Write to curiositykilledthecat@lpsc.love to ask for a copy of what we hold, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Depending on where you live — California, the EU, the UK and others — you may have a formal right to all three. We do not ask which state you are in before honoring the request.

Every club email has an unsubscribe link, except the ones confirming something you paid for.

Children

The club is for adults. This site is not intended for anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that matters, we will say so on this page and update the date at the top. The club is being built in the open; when something changes, members hear it first.
